The rooms are furnished with Mexican-Caribbean traditional fabrics and they even have local handcrafts placed in the rooms to give you the full Holbox experience. My favorite part of the room is that there is NO tv. Kaden and I played cards at night while laughing and giggling, spending real quality time together. We enjoyed the hammock on the balcony also. It was perfect to get lost in your favorite book.

All rooms include breakfast, and you can choose from vista jardin (garden views) and vista mar (ocean front). Breakfast was our favorite meal of the day. I loved the variety of fresh fruit and breads. Kaden enjoyed the pancakes each morning. I would suggest getting down to breakfast early because it fills up. You can also dine in side or outside.  The views of having breakfast outside is amazing. You are sitting right on the beach.

There’s no doubt your stay will be amazing, but make sure to take a little time to go exploring some of Holbox’s famous attractions! Take a walk down the sand bar to Punta Mosquito to see flamingos and other exotic birds in their habitat, pack a lunch and stop by Punta Coco, and stop by the main square to get souvenirs or see a birds eye view of your bungalow! When planning a trip to Holbox, there’s no where else to stay other than the amazing Villas Flamingos Holbox!
